reena vs. correspondence courses
i don't think i'll ever take a correspondence course again. me and textbooks just don't get along well enough for me to enjoy the whole process. at least in an interesting lecture setting (keyword being interesting) i actually learn stuff, then all i need to do is skim through the textbook to have the information sink in.
today's the first day of diwali. usually dad has the christmas lights up and turns them on for the five days, but this year neither my brother nor i had the time to help put them up. since they're not up for diwali, i really doubt he'll bother to get them up for christmas. i suppose the most important thing is having candles lit all around the house.

Yay! That's one thing about custom blogs, they rarely bother... though I did get that one on my message board one time. :P
that's why i couldn't understand why george was getting all that spam..
Maybe because his comments are on the page rather than in a popup? The only spam I ever got was on my messageboard, which is like that, rather than my comments which are in a popup... probably easier for a bot to navigate... so I just put in a skill testing question on the board and that took care of that!
Of course nobody uses that part of the site anyway. :P
