not a typical tuesday
this past tuesday i was actually able to attend a toronto wing night! considering the craziness occurred in august when i tried to attend, i made sure i would get downtown in time. i got there an whole hour early..
after i parked the car and locked the doors, i quickly realised that my keyless remote stopped working.. bad news because a few weeks ago i found out that the car honks loudly when you open the doors with the keys (since i always use the remote, i guess it's used to it). the way we got it to stop the last time was to press unlock on the remote.. well, i obviously couldn't do that, now could i?
so i called the dealership where i bought my car. got passed around to three people in their service department.. the final guy told me to unlock the car with the key, open the door (honking will start), close the door, lock the door, take the key out, unlock the door, open the door, and the honking will stop. so i did as he said.. and by the end of it, the honking got LOUDER.
what now? get in the car. anything? still honking! so i put the key in the ignition and started the car. the honking STOPPED! very exciting indeed. the guy on the phone was a little surprised. now he knows how to stop the honking..
tomorrow morning i have the joy of visiting my dealership at 8 o'clock and wait for an hour while they try to *fix* the problem. i refuse to pay for this.
