okay!

one of the girls in the lab just made me somewhat self-conscious.. knowing me though, i'll probably forget about it by the afternoon.  after ten experiments (so typical of a lab person!) she noticed i say okay a lot.  apparently when she's at my desk and i'm on the phone, all she hears is okay.. okay.. okay..; not to mention my answers to her are usually okay.  actually, i should change the punctuation on that since she says it's not just any okay, it's a peppy okay! or as she likes to describe it a chirping sound.  for the rest of the day i'm going to try to add some variety to my speech with alrighty!, that's fine, sounds good, fantastic!, and works for me. and perhaps just for today, in celebration of cinco de mayo, i could add some flair with ¡vaya! or ¡excelente!..

at least i don't say like a lot.  or do i..?  hrmm..
