body part bakery

i made muffins on sunday! they turned out pretty decent considering how much the kitchen seems to hate me.. anyway, half of the muffins turned out normal, the other half came out looking like nipples. out of the six nipple muffins, only one remains:

yeah, i'm not going to discuss the freudian psycho-babble of why only the nipple muffins are being eaten.. anyway, i'm not really sure why half turned out this way. maybe i'm supposed to push the batter up the sides of each muffin cup?
