a very newton moment

my uncle and aunt have a big apricot tree in the backyard. big apricot tree means a lot of apricots. lots of apricots means i'm sick and tired of those damn fruits. part of the afternoon on saturday and sunday i spent picking apricots. my uncle and my cousin are on a week's retreat with their guru, so it's just my aunt and i at home, so she uses any opportunity when someone comes to visit to get them to help pick apricots and take the bunch home with them. on sunday, dad's cousin came to visit because his parents (my grandfather's younger brother) is visiting from england. so again with the apricot picking. one of my cousins, jayna, kept stepping in fallen apricots - i had to hose down her sandals afterwards. at one point, my cousin ricky was just standing there and an apricot fell on his head! i haven't laughed so hard in the longest time :) risha, jayna and i were laughing for over ten minutes straight, with tears streaming out of our eyes. so hilarious :)
