i got carded at winners!

the other day i went into winners to buy a pair of mitts since my old ones now have a big hole in one of them. so i paid for my $12 mitts with my credit card even though i had enough cash on me to pay for it. (i'd rather save my cash for tim horton trips.) anyway, right before i signed for my purchase the girl asked me for id. that's right, she asked me for id on a $12 purchase. i'm a little disturbed by the fact the first i'm asked for id on a credit card purchase, it was for a ridiculously meaningless purchase. i suppose all in the name of security!
