i don't know..

while driving home from toronto yesterday evening, my dad got a speeding ticket. i don't think he was paying attention to the cars he was passing because apparently one out of the three he passed was an unmarked car. normally you should be able to see all the antennas at the back of the car, but it was night time and, more than likely, my dad was probably singing along to the music like a fool. anyway, the cop charged him for driving 129km/h and gave him a $138 ticket. my dad plans on contesting it. his logic: he was actually going faster so the cop's leniency actually makes the ticket invalid. ... wonder if that would actually work.
