smash!

yesterday because of the freezing rain, there was a sheet of ice on the hood and the headlights of the car. on my way to the bus station, that whole sheet of ice just came off, flew over the car smashing to the ground behind me. i wasn't going fast either! for once i was even going the limit (well because both lanes were blocked by slow drivers going at the same speed almost right beside each other.. *sigh*). that was pretty weird.. hadn't had that happen before. i've had chunks of stuff fly off the roof, but never off the hood. luckily there wasn't anyone behind me.. imagine if someone was tailgating me when that happened? great way to say back off!
