are you sure you work here?
on friday my parents and i headed out to the mall to buy a few things for them to take to england for all my grandparents. we popped into the sony store because i like to wander. the only girl working there just came up to me and started a conversation out of the blue. and not a "can i help you?" or "is there something specific you're looking for?" she actually came up to me and said, "you have to see this, it's very cool!" and in a tone like she's known me for years and years. it was very weird because i've never had that happen to me before! i wasn't annoyed by her, she was pretty amusing :)
my dad pointed out the location free tv that i had seen before on a show (sony cut the price down by half!). i was just reading up on the specs for it when the girl comes up to me and asks, "hey, what is that?" she wasn't pointing to anything on me, she was pointing to the location free tv. that's right, she was asking ME about a product in a store she works in. i kind of stuttered for a few seconds because i didn't expect that question from someone who works at the store! so i pretty much gave her a general overview of what it is.
i'm still wondering if they hired her because she was just a pretty face.. hopefully there was more to her employment than just that!

Maybe it's a new ultra-elite guerilla marketing tactic? Heh heh
i would have agreed but she asked me for information about a product in her store.. HER store!
Well that's just what makes it so clever... or... maybe it's just cheaper if you don't require employees to have a clue. :)
Pretty face? Maybe they were hoping to attract Shea. ^_^
