maybe they checked the wrong box

i'm still looking for a job. for one i sent, i forgot to attach my resume to the email. *slaps forehead* i definitely will not be called for that interview..

i found one job on a uk recruiting site: marketing research specialist
requirements:
  • educated to a degree level (2:1)

  • minimum of 2 years experience within a research based role
sounds reasonable, no? they say the position pays £65-70,000. uh.. what?! for so little experience, they're willing to pay a minimum of £65,000. that's like $130,000! now i don't know what they mean by 2:1, that *could* explain the high salary for all i know.

Hmmm... a while back, I was thinking of getting a Masters in Market Research at YorkU instead of going for an MBA. How coincidental.

I want to focus more on corporate strategy and I felt that such specialization would be somewhat limiting. 'Though I'm still intrigued. Post-MBA, I might do it for fun. But then again, I want to do a PhD at some point.
