i am supergirl
yesterday i celebrated holi for the first time ever. traditionally it involves throwing colours at each other, but here my dad's cousins use baby powder. i was planning on heading downtown afterwards to meet up with shea, however the events at the temple stopped me from wanting to go anywhere for the rest of the night. to sum it up, i'm going to smell like a baby until 2018.
today was a day of running around.. for a microwave. the microwave we bought was missing the roller ring, so after many, many calls i headed back to the store where the microwave was bought. much to the surprise of the people who work there, sears does not carry parts for over the counter items such as vacuums & microwaves, so that left either getting a full refund or exchanging it for another one. luckily they had another convection microwave, but it was more expensive than the one we bought. the woman was nice though - because of the hassle i was going through she'd do a straight exchange despite the price difference. now the challenge - getting the old microwave out of the house and into the car, then getting the new microwave out of the car and into the house. i certainly succeeded at doing that. all i can say is, after all the house stuff, i better have stronger arms by summer. now i need to work on getting my legs as strong as they use to be.
