quarter of a century
saturday night was a much needed night out! even though the fifth was a bust (damn guestlist only..), i still managed to get most people at the same place. we headed to therapy lounge where the bouncer told the owner it was my birthday, so they gave all 14 of us a free shot.. well, since three weren't drinking i got four of them :) then headed to seven where i got very happily inebriated. another drunken birthday girl stuffed a glow stick down my shirt after finding out it was my birthday as well. i got very excited and showed/told EVERYONE. sunday morning i noticed that the glowstick had leaked all over my shirt.
we got home at 4:30am and had to be up by 9am, which means i was wrecked all sunday. at one point we were in a parking lot and dad shifted into reverse. there was a car coming up from behind:
at that point my parents kindly reminded me of how i was now far too old to be out partying until 4:30am. :|

me: dad, there's a car coming. dad, there's a CAR coming. DAD, THERE'S A CAR COMING!
dad: i know there's a car coming.
me: then why are you moving the car?!
dad: i'm not..
me: maybe it's just me that's moving.
