damn hockey fanatics

so i got rear-ended on my way home from work today. the same day i forgot my cellphone at work this had to happen! i was sitting in traffic, stopped, when this kid drives into me. his front end is smashed, my bumper .. is cracked. the kid was shocked: "how in the world does your bumper only have a crack in it?!" i don't know.. i thought i drove a shitbox for a car. apparently pontiacs are pretty sturdy vehicles.

the dad wants to settle since his insurance will only cover the damage on my car and not his own, so it's not in his best interest to go that route. plus, the kid's only 21, so his premium will shoot up as high as a university student. thankfully, i have a police report and collision report that says it's not my fault in case of any funny business that will lead me to call my insurance company. anyway, my biggest concern right now is how this will affect the lease on my car (hopefully it doesn't because the repairs will be done at the dealership).

*sigh* it's dangerous to be a sens fan in toronto.
